Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions - "iVideostar"
- The "iVideostar talent platform" (hereinafter referred to as Program) is open to all persons who register on the web site of ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd. ("Company") or to existing Company registered user, being a resident of India and above 18 years of age ("Participant")
- The duration of the Program will be 2 and a half months commencing from 16th Dec 2008 ("term")
- Registrations for the Program close on 28th Feb 2009. With effect from 1st March 2009 term of the Program stands extended to 30th April 2009 on the same terms and conditions. With effect from 1st April 2009 term of the Program stands extended to 15th September 2009 on the same terms and conditions. With effect from 15th September 2009 term of the Program stands extended to 15th November 2009 on the same terms and conditions.
- To be eligible for the Program, a user is required to create his/her profile on ibibo.com and upload his/her dance video(s) on http://videos.ibibo.com where the ibibo community will vote for its favorite(s). The video can be shot on a camcorder or a mobile phone. A participant can upload as many videos as he/she wants.
- The participant will ensure that the dance videos uploaded are in no manner obscene or defamatory or in contravention to the terms and conditions enlisted on the website. Videos not found suitable shall be removed without notification by the Company.
- The top most popular video as voted by the ibibo community from the top most popular videos through the term will be announced at the end of the term and will win an mp3 player worth Rs 3000.
- Prizes will be delivered within 30 days from receipt of required information from the participant. It is not necessary that the Participant winning the most popular video prize twice during the term shall be deemed as winner of the top most popular video at the end of the term.
- At the end of the term, twenty participants will be selected basis his/her video for further screening, by a special panel constituted, consisting of famous choreographers- Bosco and Caesar. These Participants will be asked to upload another video each, as per requirements mandated at that time. From these twenty five Participants, ten Participants will be short-listed by the same panel.
- The ten short-listed Participants will get to meet and audition in front of Bosco and Caesar, at a location within India to be decided by the Company.
- From the ten short-listed Participants, five final Participants will be selected for training and featuring in a music video choreographed by Bosco and Caesar.
- These five final Participants will receive training from Bosco and Caesar for 3 days in Mumbai and the following day they shall shoot the music video, which will be featured as decided by the Company.
- Travel, boarding and lodging to Mumbai for each of the ten short-listed Participants will be borne by the Company. Choice of hotels, airlines and class shall be at sole discretion of the Company. However, chosen participants will be required to pay for all other extra expenses incurred by him/her during the Program.
- The short-listed/selected/chosen Participant(s) will be intimated by e-mail address or/ contact numbers specified by them and names of the Participant(s) shall also be posted on the Company web site. It is mandatory for the Participants to upload at least 2 contact numbers on their profiles. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for non receipt of intimation by e-mail.
- Participant(s) will be required to submit documentation such as ID, age proof etc. as required by the Company within 5 days from release of the chosen/selected/short-listed Participant's name.
- Decision of panel constituted shall be final and binding. Disputes regarding the same shall not be entertained by the Company whatsoever.
- The Company shall reserve the right to use all data, material etc. received as part of this Program as it may deem fit for its future promotions. By participating in the Program, Participants agree that in the event they are short listed/selected/chosen, he/she consents to participate in any promotional activity (ies) and/or have his/her name and likeness featured in any promotional material as required, either jointly or individually.
- Company shall not be held liable for any delay, damage, loss or theft taking place in transit during delivery of the prizes.
- The Company is neither responsible for any warranty nor guarantees quality of the prizes being given nor is it liable if the same are in any way defective or deficient. The Company makes no warranties or representations either expressed or implied with regard to the type, quality or fitness of the prizes provided under this Contest.
- The Company reserves the right to amend the rules of the Program or extend the period or cancel or discontinue the Program or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice.
- We reserve the right to change the prize due to circumstances beyond our control or to offer an alternative of similar value.
- No correspondence shall be entertained with regard to the Program.
- The Company may change/disallow, a selected/chosen/short-listed Participant(s), if required information is not received within 5 days from release of the name.
- The employees of Company, Service Providers or any associated companies and members of the immediate family of the employees of the Company will not be eligible to participate in the Program.
- The laws of India govern the Program all disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Gurgaon only.
- The Contest will continue to be governed by the terms and condition of the site.
